At our agency every units and department is saddled with various objectives which perform a number of functions to ensure smooth running of the agency as we serve the public.
Waste Management
To manage waste generated within the state which include storage, collection, transportation and disposal at designated dump sites.Â
Control Refuse Collectors
To appoint, register and control private refuse collectors in the state.
Enforcement of Sanitation laws
To enforce all Laws and Regulations concerning Solid waste management and any sanitary Laws and regulations as may be in force in the state.       Â
Maintain Sanitary Landfill
To maintain sanitary Landfill sites around the state and charge economic rates.
Data Analysis
To maintain sanitary Landfill sites around the state and charge economic rates.
Conduct Seminars
To conduct seminars, and workshop on solid waste management and advice the state Government on same.
